A Bit of a Rant!

    It is kind of rainy and cold outside today! I like it! :-) I had to open the branch today which I did not mind. Had to be there at 6:50am. We open at 7:00am and my manager who opened with me did not get there till exactly 7am. Argh!!! Sometimes I feel my branch manager and I have a personality conflict!!! There is a lot of other "stuff" that has happened to make me feel this way, but I will not really get into that. I got off work at exactly 3pm. Was supposed to get off at 2:45 but again my manager and a co-worker were late getting back from their lunch which ended up being an hour and a half for them instead of an hour. ARGH! Felt bad because then manager asked our teller coordinator to only take a 45 minute lunch so I could leave on time and she could come in later the next day, but it felt like their whole late lunch thing got twisted and made me look bad!!! :-(
    Am at my parents house now and we are going to have chimichungas for dinner!!! YUMMY! I <3 Mexican food! It is my weakness. I really like rellanos, enchiladas, burritos, tacos, quesadillas, taquitos etc. Many or all of which have cheese or are deep fried!!! Should be done in about half hour!! Smells so good so far though!!!
    Been reading a bit in my second "Bridget Jones" book. Tis very good. Are only on chapter 3 but I love all the characters. Especially Mark Darcy's character in the book and actor Colin Firth as him in the movies which you already know from my previous entries. I can't seem to not mention my like for the whole Bridget Jones book and movie sagas in every entry. I must remind myself and you! :-)
    Friday tomorrow. I don't really care for Friday's now for we get bombed at work which is always to be expected at a bank, but it would be nice if we had more help or at least another spot for a teller station. We are a very busy branch and 4 teller stations each manned sometimes is not enough!! O__o Gotta make do though. We just hired another teller thank goodness who is in teller school now like I was a couple months ago. :-)
    Trying to keep the whole work/job thing positive! ++++ Trying not to sound too negative ------- Need to just try my best and hopefully my manager and I will not but heads as much. I do not really know if she has a problem with me, but sometimes it seriously feels like it compared to how I see her act and talk to my other co-workers. I feel kind of "left out" in things a lot. Is not a good feeling really. She is really hard to talk to and ask things as well. Hmmmm???

BBQ Night!

The last few days have been kind of stressful for me with work! One of my managers at the bank named Heather left us for a few months to give birth and take care of her third child. She had the baby boy yesterday and is doing well thank goodness! Yesterday was crazy busy! Friday's of course are always busy, but yesterday was just nuts!!! Today I was stressing on going to work because there was going to be no managers and no Lori who is the regular banker at our branch and very knowledgeable and experienced. It was just me as the banker and only being out of banker school for 2 weeks, I felt well "stressed" that I would have no managers or Lori to ask questions particularly if there was a loan issue. I need to study a bit more on the loan area of my job I must admit. Though I had 4 days of loan training in banker school, I came out still feeling oblivious to the subject. Today went fine by the way. I helped two customers. One opened a savings account and the other just needed some help organizing her many credit/check/business cards! I kept my cool and got through it. :-)

are going to go out to dinner the three of us to a BBQ restaurant called "Famous Dave's". They truly have great tasting BBQ of all sorts. I always get the buffalo chicken wings which comes with corn on the cob, celery and carrots with ranch dip, corn bread and my choice of two sides which usually are garlic mashed potatoes and green beans with bacon. It sounds and surely IS a lot of food. It comes at a great price though and is great to take home for leftovers!!! Looking forward to this meal.
    Almost done with my book that I am reading called "Bridget Jones's Diary." I am on the last chapter. The books chapters are arranged by the months like a diary of course so I am on the December chapter. Such a good book. Thank you sister for recomending it to me!!!! <3

Ha! Here are some pictures of my new place with my roommate Jessica which I have

Bridget Jones

told you for over a month now I would share. O___o My room is painted a soft yellow and has kind of a girly "secret garden" theme going for it! I am very impressed. The vanity you see in one of the pictures was my grandmothers on my dad's side and it once had even belonged to her mother. An antique I guess you can simply put it. It is still in very good shape and I hope to keep it that way! In another photo you can see my "collectors case" with the tv on it. Next to the tv is a beautiful red rose lamp which my sister so kindly bought me as a housewarming gift! It is so pretty at night. The red glow is so peaceful! Then there is my bed and the bathroom! ;-)
Have been reading Bridget Jones's Diary by Helen Fielding the past couple days. It is a very good book. I am glad my sister got me into the whole movie and book trilogies! I must say I have a little thing for Mark Darcy too. He is a wonderful character in the book and movies. Played by the handsome Colin Firth in the movies! (Revert to previous entry for photo) Move out of the way Bridget Jones!!!!! jk.............
Had a half day at work today. I only worked till about noon. I then left and went to the gorcery store to buy just a few groceries like tv dinners, cereal, and milk for cereal! I am now at my parents house where we are going to all eat dinner together. Do not know quite yet what we are having????

Two Day Weekend!!!

Romantic Wish Collection by VS

I finally have the whole weekend off! Well I did! What is left of it anyways.... :-( It was a nice weekend though. Again I am at my parents house using their computer. I finally got my wireless card today so I can have the internet at home with my rommate Jessica who I am not sure has bought the wireless box on her part. I know she will. She is very nice and reliable. Maybe I will just gently remind her tonight??? ^__~ I started reading "Bridget Jones's Diary" today by the author Helen Fielding. Very good so far. I have only read one chapter so far but I am really into it. Any girl can relate to the character Bridget you know. ;-) I plan on reading some more in a while outside on my parents patio sipping a drink and enjoying the beautiful spring-like weather we are finally having now. I mean it was snowing hard here on May 1st! It was cold on Friday May 2nd too. I better enjoy this weather. Colorado is so weird sometimes. O__o
Yesterday was a fun Saturday. Like I said it was one of the 1st Saturdays I have had off in about a month. I went and did a little shopping. I first went to the bookstore and looked around a while but did not buy anything. I next went to the mall and went to Victoria's Secret and looked at all their lotions and perfumes which were on sale. They were

like 6 items for $30 or 3 items for $24 so I bought 5 items in the scent "Romantic Wish" which smells a little like watermelon to me and then a bottle of their new "Dewy Peach" lotion for my sister who is notorious for liking anything related to peaches. ^__~ I took a bath last night and tried out all my new stuff. The body wash, body scrub, lotion, and body mist all in the same scent! I felt like royalty. I then watched the movie "Meet the Fockers" with Jessica and then got sleepy and went to bed at about 10:30. I listened to my ipod a little before actually falling asleep at like midnight. We were both babysitting one of her friends huge lab dog last night along with her lab too. They were barking and making a lot of noise so it was hard to fall asleep a little. I do not know how Jessica did it because both of the huge male dogs were in her room!!!!! O___o I woke up at 9am sharp today and starting reading my book and went to look around in the store Kohls. I am now at my parents home! Phew! That seemed like a lot to type up! Hee Hee.
I am listening to the song "All I Want is to Feel This Way" by "Toad the Wet Sprocket" now. It is a ood song, but the band or whatever's name is really well "weird". The song is from the mid 90's or so. A really good song. Here, I will insert it so you can hear it too! I plan on having another Bridget Jones movie trilogy marathon tonight. I am going to have lunch here at my parents and hang out for a while and then head back home with is only a 6 minute drive from here. :-) Work tomorrow! :-( Oh well. I will try not to think of it now. It is only 1:40pm so I still have half a day of play still! :-)

A Bit of Catching Up!

Bridget Jones's Diary

It has been a long time since I last wrote! I knew it would be too. I moved in with my new roommate Jessica on April 5th and I have not had the internet in my room to be able to write. She kindly made an account for me on her computer until I got my computer over there which I did last weekend after buying a new smaller desk from target.com and until I buy a wireless card and her a wireless box which we both need to do still. ^__^ We agreed we would each buy our wireless items this coming pay period next week. She made an account for me on her computer like I said, but I just thought it would be curtious to just use the account to check my bank account and email. I did not want to hog her personal computer to write here or surf the internet. I am actually home here at my parents house now and writing this on their computer. Heeee! :-) Things have been going good these past few weeks. I am all settled in in my new place. Jessica is very sweet. We watch American Idol together every Tuesday and Wednesday and we have also watched a few movies together. We watched Alvin and the Chipmunks which I thought was cute!!! We also watched No Reservations with Catherine Zeta Jones in it which I thought was pretty good. My sister Jen has also got me hooked on the Bridget Jones trilogy with Renee Zellwegar, Colin Firth and Hugh Grant! VERY good movies! Funny and witty! My sister also loaned me the first Bridget Jones's Diary book but sheepishly I write that I have not read it yet! I WILL VERY SOON! >__< I know I have said I like Ioan Gruffudd but I think after watching Bridget Jones, that I am starting to think Colin Firth is a very handsome man!!! I think I have a thing for tall guys with brown wavy/curly hair and also brown eyes! :-) Mmmmmmm yum! Work has been a little stressful lately! I finally graduated from banker/teller school yesterday. Colin Firth

of really nice people there. Many of my best buddies are from different districts but I know if I needed to I could find a way to get a hold of them to just say hey or something. ;-) I have finally been opening accounts the past couple of weeks too. I have opened about 10 checking accounts, maybe 4 savings, 1 trust (was hell to open), and 2 Reserve Lines (overdraft protection). I am getting quite a bit of experience but there is still so much to learn! So much information to learn and then given to me all at once. I cannot process it all. AHH! We did have a couple "bankers" with some experience come and speak one day this week during banker school and they said it took them up to 6 months to feel comfortable and knowledgable with their new jobs. I agree. It will take me about that long too. "It has only been 2 months now Tracy so do not get too stressed!!!!" ^___~ As I said before, once I get my internet up and running at my place, I will take some pictures of my new room and stuff to post here on my blog. <3

eight hour days instead of 4 eight hour days and 2 four hour! Know what I mean??? Anyways glad that is over. I had Sunday off and then back to the bank again on Monday. I mostly did teller work. Wasn't a bad day in all, except I wore a new pair of shoes and my feet were fine until about 3pm when they started to KILL me! I mean I hurt! That is when we got extremely busy after being dead the whole day and I bet the customers thought I looked silly hobbling all over behind the teller line! X__X I will never wear those shoes again!!!!
Today I had more banker training. Banker Phase 2 to be exact. We will mostly be discussing loans in this 4 day class. I need all the info I can get

Jessica, my new future roommate called me last evening to let me know she was back in town and we decided I would bring a bunch of my stuff over on Thursday and on Saturday move my furniture into the new place! My sister, brother and one of his friends are kindly going to help me move in. As soon as I get settled I plan on taking some pictures of the new place. I am very excited. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

The Princess Bride (20th Anniversary Edition)

4 8 hour and 2 4 hour days. >__< Oh well. I will take what I can get! ^__^ After I got off work at 1pm about an hour ago now, I met my mom at Good Times which is a Colorado fast food burger joint. It is really good! We came home and now my mother has taken my little dog Lizie to the vet to get some more shots. Poor thing! 2 weeks ago she went to the vet and had some shots and she had an allergic reaction to on of the 3 they gave her and her face looked like it was boiling. She was having a terrible allergic reaction and my mom and dad rushed her to the emergency vet which is open later hours than our normal neighborhood vet. They gave her yet another shot and told my parents that this only happens in 1 in 1000 dogs. Poor Lizie!!! She now has to have a benedryl shot before she goes to get any of her other health shots since they are not sure which one it was that made my baby swell up like that! >__<
    I have been packing a few things in boxes the past few days to slowly take over to my new home with my room mate Jessica next week. I plan on moving my furniture in on April 5th which is a Saturday and I guess that means I will have to spend the night there and will be my first day in my new home! How exciting huh? I will have to take pics of the new place and post them here soon. Jessica is out of town this week so I cannot move my things in there until next week when she is home. My mom has been kind too and has picked me up a few essential things that I will need like laundry powder, wash rags and towels, kleenex, and other bathroom or cleaning items. :-)
    Jordin Sparks is not a new artist on the scene, but I recently heard a song by her and another artist named Chris Brown called "No Air" and I really like it. I did not know until recently that Jordin Sparks was only about 18 and was a winner of the show American Idol until I heard that on the radio as well. She has such a mature and strong voice. I really thought she was like 25. She looks older than 18 to me. I heard her song "Tattoo" a couple months ago and liked that one. I did not know that is was she who sung in the song "No Air" until I looked up the artists. Funny...... this song has just come on on my playlist now on the computer. Hee Hee. I have also been playing the song "I Don't Want to be in Love" by Good Charlotte too. ;-)
     As for movies now. My mother and I watched "Enchanted" on Sunday and it was cute. I give it a B+. Prince Edward is so funny. The actor James Marsden plays his character and his performance kind of reminded me of the actor Cary Elwes. Cary has been in such movies as The Princess Bride, Glory and Robin Hood Men in Tights. All good movies. Maybe it is the hair? What do you think??? This photo of Cary Elwes as Westley from The Princess Bride Movie is from 1987. He was a hunk in his day. I've seen pics of him now and let me just say that people do grow older..... :-( James Marsden is newer on the scene, but like I said in my last post, he has never really taken off as an actor. He does play a good part in Enchanted though which is where all this began! :-)

It's Official!

Enchanted (Full Screen Edition)

Today was a nice day at work or should I say "banker school". Is it harsh to say I like the people in this class better than in my "teller school" class a couple of weeks ago? There was this obnoxious guy in teller school. He thought he was so cool that he knew a lot of the info already and during games and activities, he just had this annoying aura and demeanor about him that made me want to go up and slap him! No one like this in "banker school" this time thank goodness. I like my trainer Amanda better than my last trainer too. I mean they are both nice people, but Amanda is just a better teacher in my opinion. ^___^
Now back to the news of my future new home and room mate. YES, I am going to be moving in in a couple weeks! My new room mate/ land lady's name is Jessica and she is a 25 year old 2nd grade teacher. The condo is really nice and clean. It has 3 rooms, 2 1/2 bathrooms, washer and dryer, gas fireplace and all the normal stuff too like a kitchen and dining room etc. Jessica has a dog too named Logan who is a black lab. He is 1 1/2 years old and very friendly. My room is painted a light golden yellow. It seems to be about the same size as my room now. It seems longer as to my room now seems wider. It has one big window and a spacious closet! Dream! :-) Jessica and I met at a Starbucks on Wednesday evening. After we chatted for a little while, I followed her home in our cars to the condo and she gave me a nice tour. think her and I could be really good friends and also I think she could be a good teacher to me in life too. She is leaving this Saturday to visit family in Las Vegas so that is why I will not be able to move in until a couple of weeks. She plans on calling me when she gets back from her trip and then I can start slowly moving my stuff over in boxes. Then maybe on April 5th and 6th, I may move over some of my furniture like my bed, vanity, chest of drawers, and collection cabinet. ^___^ Who knows? By April 7th I may be officially moved! :-)
I plan on watching the movie "Enchanted" soon. My father got it in our Netflix today and it looks really good. Everyone who I talked to who has seen it said they enjoyed it. I think James Marsden, the prince, in the movie is a really funny guy. He is not such a well know actor, but I have seen him in several films. The only one I can recall right now is "Sugar & Spice" which is about the teenage cheerleader bank robbers that came out when I was in high school. Like a freshman in high school. Seems so long ago now??? >__<

Change of Scene?

My mother called me at 8:40 this morning to tell me something interesting. She was looking through a website associated with her job at a high school called "employee marketplace." District employees can post things they are selling, looking for etc and my mother had called to tell me that someone on there had posted an ad that she was looking for a room mate! My mother gave me the phone number and I called and briefly spoke to Jessica. That is her name. She is an elementary school teacher and has a room in a condo REALLY close to where I work and live now. It sounds perfect for only $600 a month including utilities like water, internet etc. I am not sure how old Jessica is, but I think she is pretty young. I am almost 80% positive! ^__~ I don't think she could really speak at the time I called her at 8:45 am so I left her my number and asked if she could call me after 6:30pm after I got off work and she did around 7pm. We talked a little bit. She described the room and bathroom a little and then we got off to talking about our jobs, her old room mate and then got to the point on scheduling a meet at a Starbucks really close to us both. I am to meet her there at 7pm Wednesday evening. That will give me plenty of time to drive home from work. I have to drive to another part of town the next 4 days for my "banker" training from 8am to 5pm and 5pm is when "rush hour" traffic begins, so I know I will be stuck in traffic for a while. I might also have time to go home for a while too??? Well anyways I am very excited! Not only did this happen today, but my federal tax return check came in the mail as well. Yay! My state tax return came last week and that is what I used to open my savings account with. I plan on depositing my new check in there too. I have to get up early tomorrow! Ew! I have my alarm set for 6:30am. I plan on leaving for training about 7:05 or 7:10 to get there a little before 8am when it starts. I am feeling a bit better with the "teller" part of my job now. Last week was my first week on the teller line and it scared me at first, but since I already have had previous teller experience, it was not so bad! ^___^ I will keep you up to date on my meeting with Jessica this Wednesday and maybe I will be able to say that I am "moving". :-)
