Vacation Time Is Near!

Haven't done too much this weekend. I have mainly been just playing games like The Sims2 and Animal Crossing, reading magazines, watching movies, and major cleaning! I went to my Mom and Dad's house yesterday for dinner. My mom made chicken enchiladas but we didn't think they were very good. ^___~ She gave me a nice shelf my Dad had made for her several years ago to hang up in my room and I must say it looks great with all my trinkets

and dolls on it. I inserted a picture. :-) As for my previous post on The Mummy 3, I saw the trailer on the T.V. the next day and it said it was coming to theaters August 1st. Brendan Fraser also has another film coming out that looks good too based on a classic novel called Journey to the Center of the Earth. I really like "epic" kind of films or "fantasy" or "adventure" like movies such as The Mummy for a example and others like Transformers, Troy, Stardust, The Princess Bride and 300. Comedies are still my favorites though. ;-)
I plan on going to my grandma's place in Wyoming in a couple weeks and staying for a few days. I took vacation time from work for it. I am VERY excited. My grandma is moving to Hawaii in October with my Uncle who lives there now for she is getting old (she is 80 years old) and doesn't want to be "alone" in case something happens. I understand her reason for moving, but I will probably not see her for a LONG time if ever again (sadly) for Hawaii is obviously not in the mainland and expensive to travel there. I wish she would consider moving here to Denver where she would still be close to someone and be closer to five other members of her family instead of just one. :-( We plan on having a great time though on my last visit to see her in Wyoming. We are going to go see Fort Laramie, the Oregon Trail wagon roots and also this huge rock along the Oregon Trail where many of the pioneers carved their names into along with dates and messages. There are also some grave sites there of several pioneers who were not so fortunate. I have been to these places before, but not since I was about 11 years old and I adore history and remember how fun it was for me. I will be leaving to Wyoming and my grandma's on July 24th! :-)

Work and Movies!

Today, after work, I left feeling very accomplished. On Tuesday I left with still soooooo much work that needed to be done I felt overwhelmed even after work was over. Today was pretty busy for a Wednesday but I still managed to pull off calling several customers about certain issues and finishing other kinds of work. I did it all but gathering one thing which the customer is going to fax me at the branch tomorrow. Our auditors were there too which made me feel nervous thinking about it last night too. They all three were very nice ladies though and really we didn't speak or interact too much. They were busy just doing their audits of us. I think we did okay! ^___~
My sister showed me the trailer of the new Mummy 3 movie which is going to come out soon I think? I did not believe her that there was a Mummy 3 since it has been a while since the Mummy 2 has been out. Brendan Fraser is going to be in it again (yay!) but sadly it doesn't seem like Rachel Wiesz is. She was the character Evie. It still looks really neat though and I of course inserted the trailer. :-) Another cool movie to look forward to right? ^___~

Fun Filled Weekend!

Cherry Blossom Festival Dancers

I have had such a fun, fun, fun weekend! It started right after work on Friday. I went to spend the night at my parents house and we watched the movie "The Bucket List" together. (My mom, dad and I) It really was a good movie. I think my parents enjoyed it more since they are "older". They are not getting ready to kick the bucket yet though thank goodness! I hope not anyways! O___o I got to sleep with my dogs Pookie and Lizie again too that night. It was nice but seriously I didn't get much sleep at all!!!!!!
The next day my sister met me at my parents house at 9:15am and we got ready to go the the Denver "Cherry Blossom Festival" as I have mentioned we were going to in a previous entry. We had a good time. Luckily it did not get too warm until we were ready to leave. We did enjoy

some entertainment of Japanese traditional dancing, music, drumming, singing etc. We also feasted on teriyaki chicken and rice, green tea ice cream, inari, and California rolls. We also browsed the vendors stalls and my sister bought some origami paper and I didn't buy a thing. I already have my kimono, obi belt to go with it, paper parasol, and fan for my outfit and look so I really didn't need anything else. My money was well spent on delicious food as I listed above! YUMMY! ^___~

I have not been able to play them lately for when I did the graphics went on the fritz and then the monitor went out. The funny thing was it only did this when I played The Sim2, not when I went on the internet or anything so I knew it wasn't the monitor. I hadn't played the game for about 2-3 months and after seeing the new expansion accessory packs, I knew I had to do something to fix my computer!!!! I called my sister and she suggested I look into something to do with a "driver" to link my monitor to the graphics card. Something that

A lot of things are coming up or coming out if that makes sense that excite me! For one, there are two new

Sims2 Ikea

Sims2 PC games in the works that look once again amazingly fun! The first is a Sims2 accessory pack called Sims2 Ikea. "Ikea" is a very popular Swedish furniture brand store sweeping our nation with stylish and affordable items for your home.   My sister is a very big fan and though they do not have a store here in Denver or maybe not even Colorado, she has had items shipped to her house from Texas where she first discovered the store while visiting her boyfriends family who live there. The next BIG Sim2 expansion pack is going to be called Sims2 Apartment Life and it sounds and looks so awesome from the screen-shots they have on the official Sims2 website here.
    I mentioned before about the new movies actors Mike Myers and Adam Sandler have coming out called "The Love Guru" and "Don't Mess With the Zohan." They look very funny and I would like to see them both! I have been waiting for them to come out and now they are both in theaters so I need to go see them now right? ^___^
    Next weekend of the 28th I have that Saturday off and my sister and I are going to the Denver "Sakura Festival" again which I have myself been going to for the past three years now. My sister has come with me the past two years. The Sakura Festival is a celebration of Japanese culture. You Don't Mess with the Zohan

miso soup, teriyaki chicken, okinomiyaki (Japanese pizza), green tea to drink etc. Since it is late June we know it will be hot and thank goodness they have a vendor who sells shaved ice every year with flavors as simple as cherry or blueberry to the exotic yet very Japanese like green tea flavored shaved ice which to be honest is VERY good. My sister and I also had the pleasure of tasting "mochi" last year which is Japanese ice cream. They had flavors such as ginger and yet again, green tea. The ginger flavored sounded weird to us at the time but tasted quite good too. I am looking very forward to going to this festival again this year!

A Better Kind of Monday!

Father's Day was lovely! I woke up at 9am and hurried to get ready and go to my parents house. As soon as I got

there I hugged my mom and dad and asked my father if he wanted to open my gift and he happily said "yes". I got him a book solely on Alaskan Fishing. My dad, uncle and brother are all going to Alaska this August to fish salmon, halibut etc. My dad has always liked Alaska and fishing and what is more perfect than a book to get him even more excited about his trip coming up soon? I was so happy he liked it. I knew he would! ^___~ We (Mom, Dad and I) then drove to our local "Kentucky Fried Chicken" (KFC) and got a family chicken meal. My sister was in Las Vegas and my brother had to work so it was just us three. We drove to the local fair grounds/park and ate our chicken their. We arrived at about 10:45am and almost all the picnic tables were full. We were lucky that we got the very last one! Seriously! We happily ate, chatted, and then read each of our books or magazines we brought with us. Twas very nice! We left home about 12:30pm and afterward I went home and relaxed the rest of the day.
I watched the movie "Stardust" which I saw last Christmas and absolutely loved!!!! I was reluctant to watch it at first, but my sister made me with her and I sheepishly said to her afterward, "I really enjoyed that!" I REALLY did. It has such a nice story. I liked the witch character Michelle Pfeifer plays. I like it when her hair falls out and when her boobs sag after she uses too

Work was okay today. It was terrible though when at about 1:30pm my printer went on the fritz and jammed giving me many error messages and no longer letting me do transactions at a busy time of the day. I turned my system off two times and it still did not work so I brought out two of our older printers to try. The first one I tried ate the paper and one of my transactions. ARGH!!! I was mad! I changed the second printer out with the third one and it finally worked! Thank goodness! I continued to run transactions for a while until I went to lunch at 2:45pm. Arrived back an hour later after going home and eating left over KFC macaroni and cheese. ^___~ The day was almost over and went much better after that. I ran a few more transactions until about 4:30pm and closed out my drawer to be a "banker" now instead of a "teller" and helped a lady with a problem with her business

account and then opened a business account with a gentleman up until 5:50 pm. Ten minutes before we closed. I was very satisfied though with my work at the end of the day. It was my first business account in which I opened. I took my time but not too slow! The man I was opening it for was very nice and patient. I only had to ask my manager and senior banker Lori for help on two little things while opening the account. :-) I left work at 6:15pm and are enjoying my evening!!!! I am off work tomorrow and do not have any plans. Probably will sleep in if my "inner clock" will let me and chill. Watch movies, read, take a bath? Doing nothing sometimes is the most fun of all things!!!! ^___^

The Perfect Weekend At Last!

job, I just have not been able to sleep any later than 9am even on the weekends. It is my "inner clock" that I am used to telling me it is time to wake up! I left here at about 9am after getting cleaned up for the day and went to the book store to look around. No new magazines or manga volumes I needed in stock so I didn't buy anything. I was craving a bagel from Einstein Bagels so I drove there and got myself one as well as my mom and dad who I was going to meet later and go to the mall with. I got my dad and I a toasted sun-dried tomato bagel with original cream cheese! YUMMY! I then got my mom a potato bagel with original cream cheese too. I got to their house about 10am and we ate our delicious bagels and talked on the patio in their backyard. BLISS! Their yard is looking so lovely! They both really like to garden. I will have to take my camera sometime over there and snap a few photos!
We went to the mall afterward and browsed a few stores. I looked in the Sanrio store for a new Hello Kitty cell phone case but they did not have any that I cared for too much. They have sooooooo many cute things though! ^___~ We got home about 2pm I believe after we stopped for a Cinnabunn. I went to Best Buy too after I left there

The Love Guru

and bought the movie Semi-Pro with actor Will Ferrell in it. He is a VERY funny man. I really enjoy most of his movies. I also like Adam Sandler and Mike Myers who also have new movies out or soon to be. I just got done watching Semi-Pro. It was pretty good. I do like some of Will Ferrell's other movies better, but it was funny and entertaining. :-)
What to do now with the rest of this Saturday in which I have had the whole day off of work! It feels so nice! Tomorrow is Father's Day and I am also going to go over to my parents house again. We are going to go have a picnic with a KFC chicken meal at the county fair grounds/park. I picked out a very special gift for my dad which I am proud of and can't wait to give him. I will not say what it is now. Will write about tomorrow after it happens! ^___~
I think I may go watch another movie soon. I am thinking of watching Surf's Up. I must admit I have become very smitten with the actor Shia LaBeouf who voices one of the characters in the movie after seeing him in Indiana Jones 4 and Transformers etc etc etc. I think it

is neat how he started out partly in Disney with the show Even Stevens which my sister, brother and I all used to watch. He has worked hard in smaller roles while working or advancing his way up to larger roles like in Transformers for example. My brother liked him in Holes and I liked him in The Greatest Game Ever Played. I have also seen him in other smaller roles before he hit it big like in Constantine, Dumber and Dumberer and I Robot. Good for him I must say for his success! Good for him! :-)

All Up and Running!

My sister came over to my house yesterday after I got off from a freakishly busy but somewhat rewarding day at work. More about that later! Her and I first went to lunch at Qdoba, which is a baja Mexican food type of place to eat. Then we came here and she helped me get the wireless going so now I am writing my first entry on my own computer here in my new home with my room mate Jessica! Today I had the whole day off. I got up at about 9am and after I got ready for the day, went to the bookstore and browsed the shelves but found nothing I couldn't live without. I then went to Best Buy and bought the Nintendo DS game "Animal Crossing" and the movie Miss Potter. I

then went to my parents house and chilled. It was hot today. 84 degrees which I am terribly not used to yet! Feels like we have just skipped the spring like weather here and went straight into summer! I sat on the back patio and played my new game for several hours. We had chicken pot pie and cherry crisp for dessert. It was quite delicious! I did not stay too long after we ate. I said good-bye to my whole family. Mom, Dad, brother and my sister who was visiting them there today too. I always feel so sad looking in my rear view mirror at my mother watching me drive off. In my new home here with my room mate Jessica, it does not quite feel "permanent" or "home" quite yet. I wish I could still be young and free from work and bills etc. Being an adult quite frankly and still live in the comfort of my parents home knowing they are there. My parents only are about 5 minutes drive away but part of me feels "empty" still knowing I am not living with them anymore. That comfort is gone know and makes me feel uneasy sometimes and scared.
Work like I said was insane yesterday! There were just 3 people in the whole bank! I got there and got my teller drawer out but only did like 4 transactions before I opened 1 CD or certificate of deposit, 1 money market savings account and 1 regular checking. I also closed 2 accounts and a loan and dealt with a older woman and her daughter complaining about how the mother owed $480 on her reserve line or overdraft protection. I kept cool and handled it all. Had to call the help desk about 7 times but that is what they are there for. The woman who I first helped at the beginning of the day opened the CD and Money Market and it took about an hour. She was patient and very nice and at the end of the whole thing she gave me a hug. She said she was worried about opening these things because she was not sure what she wanted to do with the large check she brought in and I

She said I was very professional and I felt blessed with how patient she was with me too considering I am a new banker still. :-) My other co-workers who did the teller part the whole day were utterly exhausted too after we closed at 1pm. There was a line most of the day. Sometimes to the door!!! We were all pissed at our manager who scheduled her and 3 other of the bank employees to go to a city festival to advertise our bank and gather more accounts. They did not need 4 people there!!!! We soooooooooo could have used more help. Two people at the festival would have been sufficient we all thought! My co-worker Martha and I did not leave work until 1:45pm when we usually get out at 1:15pm roughly. I hope I hear something about this insaneness tomorrow!!!! An apology or something would be nice from our manager but highly unlikely!!! >___<
This weekend was not bad! I enjoyed the time spent today with my family and dogs! Highly therapeutic and just how I wanted to spend my Sunday! <3

Two Day Weekend!!!

Romantic Wish Collection by VS

I finally have the whole weekend off! Well I did! What is left of it anyways.... :-( It was a nice weekend though. Again I am at my parents house using their computer. I finally got my wireless card today so I can have the internet at home with my rommate Jessica who I am not sure has bought the wireless box on her part. I know she will. She is very nice and reliable. Maybe I will just gently remind her tonight??? ^__~ I started reading "Bridget Jones's Diary" today by the author Helen Fielding. Very good so far. I have only read one chapter so far but I am really into it. Any girl can relate to the character Bridget you know. ;-) I plan on reading some more in a while outside on my parents patio sipping a drink and enjoying the beautiful spring-like weather we are finally having now. I mean it was snowing hard here on May 1st! It was cold on Friday May 2nd too. I better enjoy this weather. Colorado is so weird sometimes. O__o
Yesterday was a fun Saturday. Like I said it was one of the 1st Saturdays I have had off in about a month. I went and did a little shopping. I first went to the bookstore and looked around a while but did not buy anything. I next went to the mall and went to Victoria's Secret and looked at all their lotions and perfumes which were on sale. They were

like 6 items for $30 or 3 items for $24 so I bought 5 items in the scent "Romantic Wish" which smells a little like watermelon to me and then a bottle of their new "Dewy Peach" lotion for my sister who is notorious for liking anything related to peaches. ^__~ I took a bath last night and tried out all my new stuff. The body wash, body scrub, lotion, and body mist all in the same scent! I felt like royalty. I then watched the movie "Meet the Fockers" with Jessica and then got sleepy and went to bed at about 10:30. I listened to my ipod a little before actually falling asleep at like midnight. We were both babysitting one of her friends huge lab dog last night along with her lab too. They were barking and making a lot of noise so it was hard to fall asleep a little. I do not know how Jessica did it because both of the huge male dogs were in her room!!!!! O___o I woke up at 9am sharp today and starting reading my book and went to look around in the store Kohls. I am now at my parents home! Phew! That seemed like a lot to type up! Hee Hee.
I am listening to the song "All I Want is to Feel This Way" by "Toad the Wet Sprocket" now. It is a ood song, but the band or whatever's name is really well "weird". The song is from the mid 90's or so. A really good song. Here, I will insert it so you can hear it too! I plan on having another Bridget Jones movie trilogy marathon tonight. I am going to have lunch here at my parents and hang out for a while and then head back home with is only a 6 minute drive from here. :-) Work tomorrow! :-( Oh well. I will try not to think of it now. It is only 1:40pm so I still have half a day of play still! :-)

A Bit of Catching Up!

Bridget Jones's Diary

It has been a long time since I last wrote! I knew it would be too. I moved in with my new roommate Jessica on April 5th and I have not had the internet in my room to be able to write. She kindly made an account for me on her computer until I got my computer over there which I did last weekend after buying a new smaller desk from target.com and until I buy a wireless card and her a wireless box which we both need to do still. ^__^ We agreed we would each buy our wireless items this coming pay period next week. She made an account for me on her computer like I said, but I just thought it would be curtious to just use the account to check my bank account and email. I did not want to hog her personal computer to write here or surf the internet. I am actually home here at my parents house now and writing this on their computer. Heeee! :-) Things have been going good these past few weeks. I am all settled in in my new place. Jessica is very sweet. We watch American Idol together every Tuesday and Wednesday and we have also watched a few movies together. We watched Alvin and the Chipmunks which I thought was cute!!! We also watched No Reservations with Catherine Zeta Jones in it which I thought was pretty good. My sister Jen has also got me hooked on the Bridget Jones trilogy with Renee Zellwegar, Colin Firth and Hugh Grant! VERY good movies! Funny and witty! My sister also loaned me the first Bridget Jones's Diary book but sheepishly I write that I have not read it yet! I WILL VERY SOON! >__< I know I have said I like Ioan Gruffudd but I think after watching Bridget Jones, that I am starting to think Colin Firth is a very handsome man!!! I think I have a thing for tall guys with brown wavy/curly hair and also brown eyes! :-) Mmmmmmm yum! Work has been a little stressful lately! I finally graduated from banker/teller school yesterday. Many of my best buddies are from different districts but I know if I needed to I could find a way to get a hold of them to just say hey or something. ;-) I have finally been opening accounts the past couple of weeks too. I have opened about 10 checking accounts, maybe 4 savings, 1 trust (was hell to open), and 2 Reserve Lines (overdraft protection). I am getting quite a bit of experience but there is still so much to learn! So much information to learn and then given to me all at once. I cannot process it all. AHH! We did have a couple "bankers" with some experience come and speak one day this week during banker school and they said it took them up to 6 months to feel comfortable and knowledgable with their new jobs. I agree. It will take me about that long too. "It has only been 2 months now Tracy so do not get too stressed!!!!" ^___~ As I said before, once I get my internet up and running at my place, I will take some pictures of my new room and stuff to post here on my blog. <3

It's Official!

Enchanted (Full Screen Edition)

Today was a nice day at work or should I say "banker school". Is it harsh to say I like the people in this class better than in my "teller school" class a couple of weeks ago? There was this obnoxious guy in teller school. He thought he was so cool that he knew a lot of the info already and during games and activities, he just had this annoying aura and demeanor about him that made me want to go up and slap him! No one like this in "banker school" this time thank goodness. I like my trainer Amanda better than my last trainer too. I mean they are both nice people, but Amanda is just a better teacher in my opinion. ^___^
Now back to the news of my future new home and room mate. YES, I am going to be moving in in a couple weeks! My new room mate/ land lady's name is Jessica and she is a 25 year old 2nd grade teacher. The condo is really nice and clean. It has 3 rooms, 2 1/2 bathrooms, washer and dryer, gas fireplace and all the normal stuff too like a kitchen and dining room etc. Jessica has a dog too named Logan who is a black lab. He is 1 1/2 years old and very friendly. My room is painted a light golden yellow. It seems to be about the same size as my room now. It seems longer as to my room now seems wider. It has one big window and a spacious closet! Dream! :-) Jessica and I met at a Starbucks on Wednesday evening. After we chatted for a little while, I followed her home in our cars to the condo and she gave me a nice tour. think her and I could be really good friends and also I think she could be a good teacher to me in life too. She is leaving this Saturday to visit family in Las Vegas so that is why I will not be able to move in until a couple of weeks. She plans on calling me when she gets back from her trip and then I can start slowly moving my stuff over in boxes. Then maybe on April 5th and 6th, I may move over some of my furniture like my bed, vanity, chest of drawers, and collection cabinet. ^___^ Who knows? By April 7th I may be officially moved! :-)
I plan on watching the movie "Enchanted" soon. My father got it in our Netflix today and it looks really good. Everyone who I talked to who has seen it said they enjoyed it. I think James Marsden, the prince, in the movie is a really funny guy. He is not such a well know actor, but I have seen him in several films. The only one I can recall right now is "Sugar & Spice" which is about the teenage cheerleader bank robbers that came out when I was in high school. Like a freshman in high school. Seems so long ago now??? >__<
